Summer camp fun!
The 
Troop went to Camp Buck Toms in eastern Tennessee, located about an hour southwest of Knoxville. The Scouts worked on merit badges that ranged from canoeing to space exploration, participated in activities such at zip-lining, rifle shooting, and archery and were a hit with their skits at the campfires. During the 10-day trip, the Troop also toured the Chickamauga Civil War Battlefield near Chattanooga, had a spelunking overnight adventure in the Lost Sea Caverns in Sweetwater TN, took a whitewater rafting trip on the Ocoee River, and visited the American Museum of Science and Energy in Oak Ridge, TN. And a special thank you goes out to Troop 1011, sponsored by the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta, GA., for hosting us to and from camp.
Plantation Independence Day Parade!
Troop 111 and Pack 111 joined forces to participate in the Plantation Fourth of July Parade and took home First Prize for the best float! Not bad considering the Troop arrived back from summer camp the evening before and it rained quite a bit up until 30 minutes before parade time.

Annual Spaghetti Dinner & All American Bazaar
Come join the fun, support scouting and our troop. In additional to "scout served" spaghetti dinner, we will being offering Trails End popcorn, Christmas Wreaths and centerpieces, patriotic calendars, mulch, car wash tickets and an oppportunity to help us plant pine seedlings at Camp Seminole, our local scout camp that was destroyed by Hurricane Wilma.
While you enjoy your dinner and browse our "bazaar" you will be entertained by the Sunshine Chordsmen, a barbershop quartet.
Children can also enjoy our carnival room with games and prizes.
