 Summer Camp 2012
The  Troop 111 at Camp Buck TomsTroop went to Woodruff Scout Reservation in north Georgia this past summer. The Scouts worked on merit badges that ranged from canoeing to space exploration, participated in activities such as climbing, rifle shooting, and archery and were a hit with their skits at the campfires. During the 10-day trip, the Troop also took a whitewater rafting trip on the Nantahala River, and visited Stone Mountain in Atlenta.
A special thank you goes out to Troop 1011, sponsored by the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta, GA., for hosting us to and from camp.
Plantation Independence Day Parade!
Troop 111 and Pack 111 joined forces to participate in the Plantation Fourth of July Parade and took home First Prize for the best float!
Not bad considering the Troop arrived back from summer camp the evening before and it rained quite a bit up until 30 minutes before parade time.
